Surf Contest Guide

Many times I open up a copy of Eastern Surfing Magazine and kick myself because some surfing event came up in my local area. The only problem is that I would discover it was in my area around 5 months after they ran the finals. That is why I am stoked that for Florida, they have the Surf Contest Guide. This website covers both amateur and professional events. The Surf Contest Guide covers events from the Western Atlantic Pro Surf Series, the N.S.S.A., the Surfing America Prime Surf Series, and it also even covers local events such as the Tommy Tant Memorial Classic. There are many more organizations that are covered and the calendar can help you plan out which events you want to enter or support.

The cool thing with this site is that it also allows you to sign up for free text or e-mail alerts. If the contest is postponed for example, an alert will be sent to your phone.

So if you are a contest surfer from Florida, check out the Surf Contest Guide!

  1. Thanks for this great review! I’m enjoying reading your other posts. I especially like the surfer-wife stories, as I am a surfer-mom! Our entire life revolves around getting the kids to all the contests! It is a full time job just keeping track of it!

Thanks for following my blog and for creating the Surf Contest Guide. It really does help a lot!

As for my site, I was raised around contests and graduated to the ASP-East, The P.S.A.A. and the WQS. I have always enjoyed coaching and this is my way of helping out I guess. Sometimes I have some advice and other times it is just a goofy observation. I hope that it helps out someone down the line.

If any events come up, drop me a line and I will get the word out!
