Noise to Note! #39

At one of those super-duper mega music festivals with 200 performers and 12 side stages; I was not impressed with the band at the main stage and wandered off to the sidelines. There on the side was a band playing their hearts out to a crowd of 6 people. I thought they were about the most brilliant thing I had heard in a while.

When the show ended, they left the tiny stage and soon were manning a table and selling t-shirts. I strolled over and began to chat with them and even decided to depart with ten dollars.

So this began a long path of me seeing countless shows. It also began a long career of me appearing in hundreds of people’s photos with a Flogging Molly shirt on.

A staple of my wardrobe.
